Project Date: April 18, 2026
Location: Taizhou, Jiangsu Province, China
Waste Category: Mixed Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) & Construction and Demolition (C&D) Waste
Solution Provider: Guoxin Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
Project Overview

In many rapidly urbanizing regions, waste streams are often mixed, presenting a significant challenge for traditional single-category plants. This project in Taizhou features a customized Guoxin Integrated Recovery System designed to simultaneously process high-volume construction debris and organic-rich municipal waste. By combining heavy-duty crushing with high-precision air and mechanical sorting, the site achieves a near-zero landfill rate.
Technical Configuration & Process Flow
The success of the Taizhou site is rooted in our initial 3D design phase, which optimized the footprint to accommodate both heavy aggregate processing and light combustible baling.
Primary Shredding & Material Opening
The process begins with a heavy-duty industrial shredder. As seen in the onsite documentation, mixed bags and oversized debris are fed into the system to ensure a uniform particle size for downstream sorting.
-
Key Equipment: Heavy-duty twin-shaft shredder (Featured in onsite test runs).
-
Function: Breaking down concrete blocks and opening MSW bags.
Multi-Stage Mechanical Sorting
The shredded stream is transported via a series of heavy-duty conveyor belt systems to the separation modules.
-
Trommel Screening: Splits the waste into undersize (fine soil/organics) and oversize fractions.
-
Air Separation: High-velocity air separators isolate “lights” (plastics, paper, textiles) from “heavies” (bricks, stones, glass).
-
Magnetic Recovery: Extracts ferrous metals for direct recycling.
Aggregate Crushing & Sizing
The heavy fraction, consisting primarily of construction waste, undergoes secondary crushing and precise sizing to meet industrial standards for recycled materials.
Resource Recovery Outputs

The Taizhou plant transforms “worthless” mixed waste into three high-value revenue streams:
| Output Material | Application / Destination | Economic Value |
| Baled MSW (Lights) | Sent to Waste-to-Energy (WtE) power plants as high-calorific RDF. | High (Energy Recovery) |
| Uniform Aggregates | Classified into various sizes (fine sand to coarse stone) for construction. | High (Material Resale) |
| Recycled Bricks | Produced onsite using sorted fines and crushed aggregates. | Circular Economy |
| Sorted Recyclables | Aluminum cans, PET bottles, and scrap metal. | Commodities Market |
Visual Documentation: From Design to Reality
The following onsite captures from April 2026 demonstrate the robustness of the Guoxin system:
-
Pre-Sorting Analysis: Initial waste composition shows a high concentration of recyclables like cans and plastics alongside heavy concrete.
-
System Integration: The seamless connection between the green trommel units and the conveyor network ensures high throughput without bottlenecks.
-
Product Purity: Clear piles of crushed stone and fine aggregates highlight the efficiency of the density separation stages.
Guoxin Integrated Waste Design
This Taizhou project exemplifies our “System-First” approach. We don’t just sell machines; we provide a complete 3D design rendering and layout analysis before any equipment is manufactured. This ensures that the material flow logic matches the specific waste characterization of the local region.
Whether you are dealing with pure MSW or complex mixed construction debris, Guoxin’s modular systems are engineered for durability and maximum resource recovery.
