1. Project Background & Technical Challenges
With rapid urban renewal and infrastructure development in Ya’an, Sichuan, regional environmental regulations require sustainable management of local construction and demolition (C&D) waste.
The client faced significant challenges in processing raw demolition waste:

2. Integrated Processing Sequence & Plant Workflow
The Ya’an facility utilizes an automated multi-stage separation sequence designed for continuous high-throughput operation:

1.Heavy Feeder Hopper & Primary Transport:
Raw waste loaded from outdoor stockpiles enters the enclosed workshop via heavy-duty inclined trough conveyors equipped with side guards to prevent spillage.
2.Heavy-Duty Trommel Screen (Rotary Sizing):
The raw C&D waste is fed into a heavy-duty rotary trommel screen for primary particle size separation. As the internal drum rotates, it tumbles the material to break up agglomerated waste clumps, efficiently screening out fine soil, sand, and small organics (undersize fraction) while directing oversized concrete and brick rubble smoothly toward downstream air separation and metal extraction.
3. Particle Size Classification (Vibrating Screen):
High-frequency vibrating screens classify crushed waste by particle size, isolating soil fines early in the process to optimize downstream sorting efficiency.
4. Pneumatic Density Separation (Guoxin Wind Sifter):
Light combustible fractions (plastics, film, paper, and textiles) are lifted out of the material stream using targeted airflow within the sealed Guoxin Air Classifier, leaving dense aggregate stone untouched.
5. Automated Ferrous Scrap Extraction:
Overhead cross-belt magnetic separators continuously pull rebar, wire mesh, and iron fragments off the main conveyor, protecting downstream processing and generating pure scrap metal revenue.
6. Environmental Dust Control System:
A heavy-duty green pulse bag dust collector with high-capacity air extraction ducts directly monitors all feeding chutes and transfer points, guaranteeing a clean, dust-free indoor working environment.
