Light waste materials—such as metallized plastic films, flexible packaging, woven bags, and emergency foil blankets—present major processing hurdles in municipal solid waste (MSW) sorting and Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF) preparation lines.
Due to their high toughness, low density, and high flexibility, these materials tend to wrap around traditional shredder rotors, leading to frequent equipment jams, motor overheating, and uneven particle-size output.
To demonstrate our solution for international clients, Henan Guoxin Machinery conducted a full-scale workshop testing run on July 31, 2026, utilizing a specialized Two-Stage Crushing & Shredding System.

Technical Solution: Two-Stage High-Efficiency Shredding Line
Our engineering team designed a continuous two-stage mechanical reduction process tailored specifically for flexible packaging waste and light RDF fractions:
Stage 1: Primary Reduction via Light Material Crusher

Feeding Mechanism: Heavy-duty inclined belt conveyor feeds loose, bulky metallized film bundles directly into the hopper.

Working Principle: Specially angled rotor blades perform rapid shear-cutting on bulky light waste without windup or material bridging.

Function: Reduces large-volume film bundles into manageable coarse strips, significantly lowering bulk volume for downstream processing.
Stage 2: Fine Shredding via Patented Screw Crusher

Anti-Tangling Technology: Designed with an internal continuous screw feeding cutter shaft (Patent Protected) that continuously pulls light strips into the cutting zone without wrapping around the main shaft.

High-Shear Pulverization: Converts tough, flexible metallic film strips into micro-sized, highly uniform fluff/flakes.

Continuous Discharge: Smooth, vibration-free discharge suitable for direct pneumatic conveying or RDF baling/pelletizing.
