From Mixed Debris to Pure Energy
In Gansu, the local municipal solid waste (MSW) presented a significant challenge due to its diverse and high-moisture composition. To make Waste-to-Energy (WtE) commercially viable, the power plant required a fuel source with a consistent calorific value and free of non-combustibles such as glass, stones, and metals.
Our Solution: Integrated MBT (Mechanical Biological Treatment) Sorting Line
Guoxin Group implemented a high-efficiency sorting system designed to bridge the gap between urban waste collection and energy production.
1. Liberation & Pre-sorting
The raw MSW is fed into a Heavy-duty Plate Feeder, followed by an automated Bag Opener to ensure all waste is liberated for downstream mechanical separation.
2. Size & Material Separation

Trommel Screens: Used to remove organic “undersize” material and fines, which are diverted for composting or stabilized landfilling.

Air Density Separators: These systems cleanly isolate high-calorific light fractions (plastics, paper, textiles) from heavy inert materials like aggregates and glass.

Magnetic Separators: High-gradient magnets extract ferrous metals, protecting downstream shredders and creating an additional revenue stream.
3. RDF Preparation & Baling
The sorted combustible fraction is processed through high-torque RDF Shredders to achieve the optimal particle size. The final material is then compressed using heavy-duty Baling Systems for efficient transport to the nearby WtE power plant.
