Project Overview
-
Location: Lechang City, Guangdong Province, China
-
Commissioning Date: March 27, 2026
-
Feedstock: Mixed Urban Waste (C&D debris, bulky waste, and MSW)
-
Capacity: 300 Tons Per Day (TPD)
-
Core Objective: High-purity separation of recyclables and combustible fractions to meet regional “Zero-Waste” mandates.
Project Background: Strict Compliance in a Developing Urban Hub
Lechang, as part of Guangdong’s push for high-quality green development, required a sorting facility that could handle the increasing volume of mixed urban waste. The challenge was twofold: the waste contained heavy construction materials (concrete and bricks) mixed with light household perishables. The solution needed to be robust enough for heavy loads while being precise enough to extract high-value plastics and metals without secondary pollution.
Technical Process and Equipment Configuration
The Lechang project utilizes an integrated mechanical sorting sequence designed by Guoxin’s engineering team:
-
Uniform Feeding: Heavy-duty chain plate feeders ensure a steady flow of mixed waste into the system.
-
Preliminary Screening: A large-scale trommel screen separates the waste by size, isolating soil and fine organics from larger debris.
-
Density Separation: Utilizing advanced air classifiers (Wind Sifters), the system separates light fractions (plastics, paper) from heavy inert materials (stones, glass).
-
Resource Recovery: Strategic placement of magnetic separators ensures the continuous reclamation of ferrous metals from the waste stream.
-
Quality Control: Final manual sorting stations allow for the recovery of specific high-value recyclables before the light fraction is sent for RDF processing.
Project Benefits & Operational Data
-
Sorting Purity: Reclaimed aggregates achieve over 92% purity, ready for road base reuse.
-
Combustible Recovery: Efficient extraction of light materials for RDF, reducing landfill volume by 85%.
-
Labor Efficiency: The automated line reduced the required on-site personnel by 60% compared to traditional sorting methods.
-
Environment Standard: Dust suppression and odor control systems are integrated to comply with Guangdong’s strict environmental regulations.
Cost-Benefit & ROI Analysis
| Financial Metric | Estimated Data (USD) |
| Total System Investment | $500,000 – $850,000 |
| Revenue (Aggregates + RDF + Scrap) | $300,000 – $450,000 / Year |
| Operational Efficiency | High automation reduces per-ton processing costs |
| Estimated ROI Period | 22 – 28 Months |
